Paritrana Awards Night Celebrates Safety and Health Excellence in East Kalimantan 2024

On Friday, August 9, 2024, the prestigious Paritrana Award Night for Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) was held at Hotel Bumi Senyiur, Samarinda. Organized by the East Kalimantan Provincial Office of Manpower and Transmigration (Disnakertrans Kalimantan Timur), the event celebrated outstanding achievements in workplace safety and health.

PT Kariangau Gapura Terminal Energi ("KGTE") clinching two prestigious awards in the OSH sector. KGTE received the Zero Accident Award for achieving an impressive 300,832 accident-free work hours. Additionally, KGTE also honored with the P2HIV-AIDS Program Award, achieving a remarkable score of "92" or "Platinum" status, as assessed under the guidelines of the Directorate General of Manpower Supervision and Guidance Regulation KEP. 44/PPK/VIII/2012.

The ceremony gave reward to the total of 264 companies recognized with Zero Accident Awards for maintaining accident-free workplaces, while 111 companies were acknowledged for their efforts in implementing the P2 HIV-AIDS Program at their workplaces. Moreover, three individuals received awards for their dedication and advocacy in promoting OSH practices.

In his address, Mr. H. Rozani Erawadi, S.H., M.Si., Head of the East Kalimantan Provincial Office of Manpower and Transmigration, emphasized the importance of recognizing and incentivizing exemplary OSH practices. He stated, "The OSH Awards aim to motivate and encourage companies and stakeholders who have successfully implemented OSH standards in their workplaces and achieved zero workplace accidents."

The Paritrana Award Night not only celebrated achievements but also underscored the commitment of organizations and individuals towards ensuring safe and healthy workplaces across East Kalimantan. Such initiatives are pivotal in fostering a culture of safety and well-being in the workplace, ultimately contributing to sustainable development and employee welfare in the region.
