From Shanghai to Medan: A Successful Electric Bus Shipment

Interport proudly announces the completion of the project to deliver 60 units of Higer electric buses, model KLQ6109G, from Shanghai, China, to Medan City, North Sumatra. The shipping process began at Zhangjiagang Port and lasted approximately 11 days, covering a distance of 3,266 nautical miles aboard the MV Xin Da Zhong. With an average speed of 10 to 12 knots, the delivery proceeded smoothly and on schedule.
This project marks not only Interport's success in shipping large quantities of goods but also reflects the company's commitment to innovation and sustainability. We collaborated with various stakeholders, from bus manufacturers in China to port authorities in Indonesia, to ensure that every stage of the delivery went smoothly.
During the journey, the team conducted routine monitoring to ensure the safety and security of the buses being shipped. We also prepared all necessary documents and permits to facilitate a seamless shipping process. The arrival of these buses is anticipated to enhance public transportation services in Medan City while positively contributing to the environment.
Interport is committed to continually innovating and providing better transportation solutions in the future. With this project, we hope to inspire more parties to invest in eco-friendly and sustainable transportation options.
