Interport’s CSR Initiative Addresses Child Stunting Through Nutritional Education and Protein Supplementation

news

In a concerted effort to combat child stunting and promote maternal and infant health, Interport spearheaded a significant Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative on May 31, 2024. The event centered around educating mothers with infants under two years old in Janju Village, Grogot Sub-district, Paser District.

The primary focus of the event was to enlighten mothers on the crucial role of diversified, protein-based snacks in their infants' diets. With 80 mothers and their babies in attendance, the sessions were interactive and engaging, aiming to empower mothers with the knowledge and resources necessary for optimal child nutrition.

Additionally, as part of our commitment to community welfare, Interport provided supplementary protein-rich meals for infants under two years old in Janju Village. This initiative seeks to bridge nutritional gaps and ensure the healthy development of these children.

Furthermore, to sustain the impact of our efforts, a weekly program for providing additional protein-rich meals will continue for the next three months. This ongoing support underscores Interport's dedication to making a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve.

By addressing the root causes of child stunting and promoting nutritional awareness, Interport reaffirms its commitment to corporate social responsibility and community empowerment. Together, we strive towards building healthier, more resilient communities for generations to come.
