Commemoration of National Occupational Health and Safety Month at Interport Business Park

From January 17 to February 17, 2025, Interport organized a series of activities to commemorate National K3 Month with the theme raised by the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia "Strengthening Human Resource Capacity in Supporting the Implementation of the K3 Management System (SMK3) to Increase Productivity." This event lasted for a full month at the Interport Business Park (IBP), Kariangau, East Kalimantan. As part of this event, Interport involved IBP tenants and various relevant stakeholders to ensure the success of the event, which aimed to raise awareness about Occupational Health and Safety (K3) in the workplace.

The activities for National K3 Month were divided into three main programs: the opening ceremony, promotive programs such as group exercise, social actions, and interactive seminars, as well as implemented programs including fire safety training and the use of Fire Extinguishers (APAR) in collaboration with the Balikpapan City Disaster Management Agency. The event also featured K3 campaigns through video, mental health and industrial health campaigns, ergonomic work positions, the 5S principle, and workplace safety. A series of engaging and educational competitions added to the event's excitement.

To conclude, the event included discussions with professional K3 speakers, providing the latest perspectives and sharing relevant knowledge and experience in managing K3 at the workplace. Through this event, Interport aims to enhance human resource capacity in the field of K3, while encouraging the effective implementation of SMK3 to create a safer and more productive work environment.
