ABUPI National Port Seminar and Summit 2026

Interport Logistic & Support Services (“ILSS”), a subsidiary of PT Interport Mandiri Utama and a member of the Indonesian Port Business Association (“ABUPI”), attended the National Port Seminar and National Working Meeting (“Rakernas”) organized by ABUPI at the Ballroom of the Aryaduta Hotel in Menteng, Jakarta.
The seminar, themed “Strengthening Synergy to Drive National Port Transformation,” was attended by various stakeholders in the port and maritime sectors, ranging from port operators and industry associations, such as cargo owners and ship owners to representatives from the Directorate General of Sea Transportation, Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia. In its discussions, the seminar emphasized the importance of synergy among stakeholders in addressing the dynamics of the logistics and port industries. Improving operational efficiency, strengthening infrastructure, and leveraging technology were the main focuses in driving national port transformation to support the smooth flow of logistics and economic growth.
Interport’s President Director, Mr. Adi Darma Shima, participated as a panelist in a discussion session titled “Port Services and Innovation to Support the National Supply Chain.” The panel discussion also featured Mr. I Komang Wisnu Damanjaya, SE, MSc, as Head of Sub-Directorate III for Port Management, Directorate of Ports, Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia; Mr. Edi Rivai as Director of Legal and External Relations at PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk; Mr. Noor Fuad, President Director of PT Krakatau Bandar Samudra; Mr. Firman Kartasasmita, President Director of PT Samudera Pelabuhan Indonesia Tbk; and Mr. Farid Padang, Commercial Director of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia. This participation demonstrates Interport’s role in fostering collaboration and the exchange of perspectives within the port industry.
The series of activities continued with the ABUPI Summit on the second day, which discussed the evaluation of 2025 performance, the approval of the 2026 work program, and the inauguration of interim board members. On this occasion, ABUPI Chairwoman, Ms. Liana Trisnawati, presented several certificates of appreciation to Interport as a token of appreciation for its contributions and consistency in supporting the organization’s progress. Through this involvement, Interport continues to strengthen its role in supporting the transformation of the national port sector toward greater integration and competitiveness.
